Earlier this year for my Intro to Business and Marketing class I created a video advertisement for a rebranded Gibson Guitars. The project was based around an episode of AMC’s “The Pitch” which involves two marketing companies competing for a high tier client. The episode can be viewed here on Youtube as well as on iTunes and Amazon.
Here is the video ad I created that was meant to emphasize going from the old to new as shown in the intro clip as well as by using the Yosemite music video in which Travis Scott watches a younger version of himself from an Astroworld themed jet. I also chose this song because the beat is based around a guitar riff which seems appropriate for Gibson Guitars (And because my teacher dissed rap music’s lack of instruments when giving us the assignment).
